If you are interested in a wooden storage shed for your property but do not have a lot of cash, there are some great ways to save on money for these structures:
  1. First, look for a wooden storage shed kit online. These kits will costs a lot less than purchasing an already built new storage shed, yet you will also not need a whole lot of building experience to put them together. With most wooden storage shed kits, the parts have already been pre-measured and pre-cut, and can be assembled easily by one or two people from a few hours to a few days (depending on the complexity of design).

  2. If you are building your own wooden storage shed from scratch, consider using recycled lumber. New wood can cost quite a bit, but decent wood can be salvaged from barns, old houses and many other structures. Look or ask around your neighborhood to see if anyone has a wood structure that needs to be taken down.

  3. Consider building a log shed using wood from your own property. If you have many surplus trees that need to be thinned, a log cabin style wooden storage shed may be an ideal solution.
By using a little creative thinking you should be able to save a little (or a lot of money) on you wooden storage shed. For more ideas about building and use wooden storage sheds, please return to the Wooden Garden Sheds Information website.
